Hi, guys. I’m not sure why I decided this evening that I needed to catch up on y’all but I’m glad I did. This whole Library Blog thing is just too much! Sounds like you’re all doing well and I’m very happy to hear it.
For my ownself, working with you for 15 years was very rewarding, and that reward is RETIREMENT, which I cannot recommend highly enough. My advice: get old soon and reap the benefits! And if you want another reason to retire, here’s some notes and snaps from our most recent trip: http://home.comcast.net/~dneikirk/Baltic/
Next summer: a Rhine river cruise from Amsterdam to Basel.
In just one more year it will be 20 years since we moved into and dedicated what I still think of as the “new” Hoover Library. Tempus do fugit, do it not. (And I bet they never have fixed the leak between Cataloging and Acquisitions, have they?)
Happy New Year.
